Max Tuck and feline patient

We cover the south Hampshire area from Romsey across to Chichester. Surgical, hospital facilities and out of hours cover for pet animals are centralised at Shedfield Veterinary Hospital so as to maximise the breadth and depth of care we can provide for our clients and their pets. Being a Registered RCVS Tier 3 Small Animal Veterinary Hospital all in-patients receive 24 hour nursing support and care from our on-site nurses. There is a purpose built Equine diagnostic and hospitalisation unit built into the south of the Hospital.

The Practice was taken over by David Langrish in 1983 and renamed Animed. David was joined in Partnership by Tom Chamberlain, Caroline Coombs, Max Tuck and Robin Peal. A new purpose built Small Animal Hospital and Equine unit was designed and completed at Shedfield in 2003 for around £1.6 million and the Practice headquarters moved from Wickham to Shedfield.

Tom Chamberlain left the Practice in March 2008 to join the Westpoint Practice, allowing us to concentrate on Small Animal and Equine work, all the farm work has been transferred to Westpoint although clients can still collect their medicines from Shedfield by prior arrangement.
